Xylitol

Xylitol is a pre-biotic sugar that hydrates and conditions skin and supports the skin’s
microbiome. It has potent anti-bacterial properties and provides a cooling, soothing
effect on skin. Xylitol is derived from hardwood, in this case birch, as an upcycled
waste stream from paper production.
