I bought this on a whim after smelling it at Stockmann in Helsinki, because Forest Riot was sold out and wanted to bring a Finnish scent home with me, decided this was the one – and I am glad I did! This fragrance feels nostalgic and hits in waves of memories of busy urbanity mixed with hot, dry forest wood. To me it sort of evokes the feeling of a busy music festival on a hot, dry day in July that takes place in the middle of a forest. This is a scent I will come back to again and again and discover new layers of I think. It lasts all day and sort of evolves into something a little more mysterious as time goes on – a can't quite put my finger on it nice kind of scent – like an expensive, teak turn-of-the-century hotel lobby with a really nice bar with the best drinks in Helsinki.
This perfume is so fresh and energising! I usually love very flowery and sweet scents, but this has been a nice surprise with the addition of bright citrus in it. It adds a bit of luxury to my everyday <3
This is the best soap I have ever had! I'm suffering from dry hands and I usually cannot use any soaps. But this soap does not dry my hands – furthermore it feels like it takes care of them. Also the scent is so forestry and fresh, and freshens the whole toilet when it's used.
Really brings the smell of fresh forest indoors! It calms and freshens the space – the scent works in kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom – everywhere. I bought first the small bottle 100ml but next will buy the bigger size :)
This is my new favourite perfume! I have previously liked sweet summer seasonal fragrances, but this is better than anything before – so fresh and naturally floral. Like a field of wild flowers.
I gave this perfume as a gift to my boyfriend and he loves it! He was amazed that he only needed to spray one or two times the fragrance – previous fragrances needed at least three or four to make a long-lasting effect. And smells fresh and pleasant for me as well!
Wow. Was my first experience, when i used this product for the very first time. It is truly amazing, it smells so good and natural, it is like walking in the pine woods in the early morning. It is realy under priced for the quality you get. Keep it up! I freaking love this!!!

If Forest Riot transports you to a lively and vibrant forest, Equilibrium evokes in me the same forest, but at the blue hour, at dusk, with fires burning and ashes, while wise women prepare magical ointments, in deeply communion with the earth. Rooted and spiritual at the same time. This is art.
I agree with everyone who wrote before me. Wild forest, but bright and lively. Without a doubt the best coniferous fragrance I've smelled to date.

In de strakke flacon van Hetkinen, die in de hand aanvoelt als een echt bosartefact. Het is niet zomaar een voorwerp, maar een bron van kracht. Het levendige, onbewerkte oppervlak bewaart de warmte van het bos en herinnert me aan de onschatbare schatten die ik als kind verzamelde: grillige takken, ‘edelstenen’ en stukjes schors.
Zodra ik de dop open, valt de ruimte om me heen stil. De kamer vult zich met de geur van vlierbessenolie – en de vertrouwde werkelijkheid brokkelt af, waardoor een poort naar mijn kindertijd wordt geopend.
Voor mij is dit een terugkeer naar de tijd dat de wereld enorm en mysterieus was. Deze intense, natuurlijke geur omhult me als de oude mantel van een verhalenverteller, en ik bevind me onmiddellijk in een sprookje van Andersen. Hier, in de schaduw van de betoverde tuin, komen vergeten beelden tot leven: zonnestralen op een oude bank, de scherpe smaak van bessen op mijn vingers en het opgewonden voorgevoel van een groot avontuur dat achter de volgende bocht van het bospad op me wacht.
In dit flesje-artefact leeft de authentieke geest van de Finse natuur. Dit is niet zomaar een parfumcompositie, maar een helende essentie van het Noorden zelf — puur, eerlijk en diepgaand. Door de druppels van deze olie voel ik de koelte van de bossen van Suomi, waar het mos veerkrachtig onder mijn voeten meebeweegt en de lucht doordrenkt is met de rust van eeuwenoude dennen en de bescheiden zoetheid van bessen.
Dit is mijn persoonlijke kompas, dat in de rumoerige chaos van het dagelijks leven onfeilbaar de weg naar huis wijst, naar mezelf 😉✨
Mijn kennismaking met Finland begon niet met kaarten en routes, maar met de subtiele geur van hout en dennennaalden. Ik kreeg een mysterieuze ‘mystieke doos’ van Hetkinen in handen, en bij de eerste ademhaling veranderde de ruimte om me heen.
Onoma overspoelde me met de hitte van eindeloze zomervelden. Het is de geur van kruiden, bevroren in de middagmist, waar de zoetheid van de weide plotseling wordt doorbroken door een verkwikkende sprankje limoen. Amuse Air werd mijn slokje vrijheid — helder als het spiegelgladde water van een noordelijk meer, wekt het enthousiasme op en hult je in een nauwelijks waarneembare, aantrekkelijke geur, waarin je met volle teugen wilt ademen.
Maar Chaos… Het werd niet zomaar een ontdekking. Het werd mijn spiegelbeeld.
Er zit geen greintje kleffe en tedere wellust in,
Geen romige tonen die het gehoor irriteren.
Er zit het gefluister van hout in, zo oud als de ark,
En een zachte zoetheid die de geest streelt.
Hij is niet scherp als een spar op een ijzige middag,
Hij is gladgestreken door de tijd en de wellust van barnsteen.
Mijn Chaos is een wereld vol licht,
Mijn tweede ‘ik’, mijn aarde.
Voor mij is het geen parfum, het is een gemoedstoestand. Een nobele houtigheid, ontdaan van overbodige zachtheid, maar verwarmd door natuurlijke, ware zoetheid. Dat zeldzame geval waarin een geur je imago niet aanvult, maar gewoon ‘jij’ is.
It is neither too sweet nor too sharp, and it is hard to describe exactly what it smells like. To me, it has a delicate fresh tartness with a soft, feminine, creamy quality. The overall feeling is light, clean, and effortless. When I close my eyes, I picture a sunlit white room with a white bed and flowing white curtains, airy, pure, and serene.
I had travelled all the way from Helsinki to attend this wonderful workshop, and my expectations were pleasantly exceeded. First of all, the hosts were extremely attentive and accommodating, as I was the only one who spoke English. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The workshop itself was very well planned and executed with clear instructions yet creative freedom to take control over the process. We were also offered a delicious snack and refreshments, which was not mentioned anywhere prior and was a very thoughtful touch. This was my first product and experience from Hetkinen and it definitely left a strong lasting impression. Thank you!
