The healing and protecting effect of spruce resin is based on the resin and coumaric acids along with lignans that the resin contains. It is a renewable natural product that is also antiseptic, reduces inflammation, and speeds up skin regeneration. We collect the resin from the tree trunk. It doesn’t cause any damage to the growth of the tree.
non-gmo soy wax
Soy wax burns cleanly and slowly. Soy wax is non-toxic and doesn’t contain allergens that could irritate breathing. Soy wax is responsibly produced from the soybeans and is a completely renewable natural resource.
non-gmo rapeseed wax
Rapeseed cultivation has a long tradition in Finland. Turnip rape wax is a natural candle wax and renewable material. Therefore, it is also an ecological choice. Turnip rape wax burns with a non-toxic flame.
The Finns are known in the world for their sauna culture. The most common material used for the sauna bench is aspen. The tree substance of aspen is soft and therefore doesn’t retain heat. Aspen also works excellently as a wick of a candle. It burns peacefully and safely without big crackles.
